Interior Spaces
Interior Spaces is a continuation of my broader
theme of the plurality of truth. As a body of work
related specifically to places of the mind, it is based
on the seemingly arbitrary connections that thoughts
and memories make between disparate events and
feelings. States of mind alter remembered
experiences, as do photographs, and anecdotes from
other involved people. Coming from disparate
sources, (various European tourist attractions), the
photos used are meant to create a dichotomy between
the real and the illusionary, and to force a
reevaluation of linear concepts of truth and memory.
